Otley Run
Read our latest update on tackling this and see previous news on the issue. As the weather warms up we'll be running local campaigns for more enforcement and more action from local venues. Stay tuned!
Break ins
We've been really concerned by the big increase in reports of break ins, theft, and very threatening behaviour. This hasn't only been concentrated in one area. We're joining the police to share crime prevention advice door to door, but we can't get everywhere. If there have been incidents in your area please encourage your neighbours to report anything suspicious to the police. And people can subscribe to this weekly newsletter where we share crime prevention advice whenever we can: https://www.weetwoodrose.co.uk/sign-up-to-our-newsletter
Speeding enforcement

Every week we work with our fantastic Neighbourhood Police Team to make sure local crime is dealt with quickly. This last week they've been doing speeding enforcement on local roads like Moor Road, and over the next few weeks they'll be doing more on roads throughout the ward thanks to concerns raised by you.
Tackling speeding and improving road safety is a priority for us.
Nuisance door to door sales
There has recently been an increase in aggressive and nuisance door to door selling, including in No Cold Calling areas. If you're worried about anyone operating in your area please do report it by phoning 101.
