We've shared below an update on the facts and figures about crime in Weetwood over the last month. We work closely with the police to make residents aware of these along with helpful advice, and we raise issues with them that you tell us about - especially if it's more recurring anti social behaviour that isn't always reported directly to the police. We can influence where patrols are, so this is very useful!

On the Otley Run - we're still working closely with the Otley Run Action Group to get pro-active enforcement and other changes to make the issue more manageable. There's still time to sign our petition about increasing fines for public urination and other anti social behaviour from £100 to £500.
Crime stats for the past month:
Burglary – Residential: 15 incidents
Burglary – Business and Community: 4 incidents
Theft from Motor Vehicle: 17 incidents
Theft of Motor Vehicle: 6 incidents
Criminal Damage: 18 incidents
Theft from Person: 2 incidents
Shoplifting: 1 incident
Bike Theft: 5 incidents
Other Theft: 9 incidents
Robbery (Personal): 1 incident
Drug Offences: 3 incidents
Possession of Weapons: 0 incidents
Public Order Offences: 10 incidents
Anti-Social Behaviour: 19 incidents
While Weetwood generally sees lower crime levels than many other areas, we’re continuing to work with West Yorkshire Police and local residents to tackle repeat issues such as vehicle crime and ASB. If you’d like to raise a concern or suggest a priority for local patrols, please get in touch.
